BBC Proms in the Park
Since 2004, Limegreen has provided the power, electrical distribution and site lighting to the BBC Proms in the Park, Singleton Park in Swansea. Over the years Limegreen has built a strong relationship with the organisers and have developed a reputation for providing a reliable and uninterrupted power supply to this prestigious event.
This year was no exception; Limegreen provided two sync set generators and two stand alone generators to power the whole of the event site, including the main stage, VIP tents, catering outlets, backstage production offices and television and radio broadcast trucks. In addition to the event site being broadcast live regionally, one of the highlights of the event featured a big screen link up and live relay of the famous finale of the Last Night of the Proms from the Royal Albert Hall.
The importance of reliable interrupted power supply was vital for the event's success which is why Limegreen take the time to work closely with the client to understand the demands of each unique event and design an efficient and effective power and distribution system.
'Over the year's it has been a pleasure to work with Limegreen Events on BBC Proms in the Park knowing that each member of their team is highly skilled and trained in their area of expertise'.
Martyn Rourke, Lighting Director, BBC Proms in the Park Swansea.
