20,000 people descended upon Singleton Park in Swansea on one of the hottest days in June to attend the annual Escape Into The Park Festival. The festival featured some of the biggest names in dance music including Judge Jules, Lisa Lashes, Andy C, Scratch Perverts and Utah Saints. Limegreen returned this year to supply the temporary power and electrical distribution to the entire festival site which comprised one main music stage, four music arenas, several bars and catering outlets, marquees, market and merchandise stalls and of course the festival fairground.
Limegreen Events has worked closely with Escape's festival organisers for the last four years and fully understands the importance of an uninterrupted power supply for an event of this scale. Limegreen provided everything the organisers needed to ensure the smooth operation of the festival's temporary energy supply and distribution. The team, headed by Production Manager Alex Cameron, spent five days installing the power system which had been carefully designed, with over ten generators, fuel tanks, countless metres of cabling and several tower lights. During the event day Limegreen engineers and electrical technicians were on standby to monitor the power and distribution system and give peace of mind to the festival organisers.
The festival this year was a complete success and the team look forward to next years event which is tipped to be bigger and better than ever....
